The Gap We Exist to Close

Only 1% of biopharma R&D goes to female-specific conditions beyond oncology.

Of the $53+ billion spent globally on healthcare research, only a sliver is directed at the conditions that disproportionately affect women. We exist to support the labs and independent researchers working to close that gap — with materials they can actually trust.

1%of biopharma R&D goes to female-specific conditions beyond oncology
2.3%of the $49B in healthcare venture funding goes to women’s health
8.8%of NIH research spending (2013–2023) went to women’s health

Quality & Verifiability

If we wouldn’t trust it in our own lab, we wouldn’t sell it.

Every Aphrodite Aminos peptide is independently tested by a third-party laboratory for identity, purity, and concentration. Certificates of Analysis are published on every product page — searchable by lot number. We don’t ask you to take our word for it. We give you the data.

Identity by mass spec

LC-MS or MALDI-TOF confirms each peptide matches its labeled sequence and molecular weight.

Purity by HPLC

Minimum 99% — most compounds ≥99% — with the chromatogram published on the COA.

Lot-traceable COA

Every product page links to a lot-specific Certificate of Analysis. Searchable via COA Lookup.

A Note from Our Founders

Built because we needed it to exist.

Aphrodite Aminos started with a simple observation: the conditions that shape women’s lives — from our hormones to our autoimmune systems to how we age — are dramatically under-researched and under-supplied. We built the lab partner we wished existed for the researchers studying these conditions, and a percentage of profits always goes back to organizations advancing women’s health science. We’re proud to be woman-owned, US-based, and obsessive about the quality of what leaves our doors.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

For order, COA, or wholesale questions, reach our US-based support team at hello@aphroditeaminos.com.

Are your peptides made in the US?

Our compounds are sourced and quality-verified for the US research market and ship from our domestic fulfillment center. Each lot is third-party tested before it reaches your bench.

How do I know what I’m receiving is what’s on the label?

Every lot is confirmed by mass spectrometry for identity and by HPLC for purity. The chromatogram and full Certificate of Analysis are published on each product page and searchable by lot number.

Why is Aphrodite Aminos focused on women’s health?

Female-specific conditions are dramatically under-researched and under-supplied. We curate our catalog around the research domains that disproportionately affect women so the labs studying them have materials they can trust.

What is PMOS, and why do you use that name instead of PCOS?

PMOS (Polycystic Metabolic-Ovarian Syndrome) reflects the broader metabolic and endocrine picture researchers now associate with the condition formerly labeled PCOS. We use it to align with current research framing.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently ship within the United States only. Orders are inspected, packed, and dispatched from our US fulfillment center.

How are shipments packaged?

Compounds ship with compound-appropriate cold-chain packaging where required, in discreet, protective materials designed to preserve integrity in transit.

What’s your return policy?

Because these are sensitive research materials, returns are handled case-by-case. Reach our support team and we’ll make it right where we can.

Do you offer wholesale or institutional accounts?

Yes. We offer wholesale and lab-account pricing for institutions and high-volume researchers. See our Wholesale & Lab Accounts page to apply.

How do I verify I’m a qualified researcher?

At checkout you’ll confirm research affiliation and that you are at least 21 years old. All products are sold strictly for in-vitro laboratory research use only.
